Go big or stay home... Jerome and I are in for 2010. Every year I do something that makes me get out of my skin. This year, I did Oceanside in early April - which is just stupid living in Chicago. Next year, this will be my main challenge and a trip to Germany at the same time!

yay - how fun! i knew the IMs would lure you back!!!!! i really want to do that one. the other day at the pool chrissie w. was talking about what a great, first class race that was...it almost made me go home and sign up immediately, lol.

Oh, Jen, that sounds SO GREAT. (If I ever do another IM, that is the top of my list.) We used to live not so far from there and it is just beautiful. Jerome is gonna love the beer. After reading all the stories about the LP swim start, Roth's swim waves sound like a luxury.

AWESOME! So cool. Will you take the kids? I love, love, love Germany (and Switzerland). Helps that I speak German, although it's getting pretty stinking rusty.

The BIL was asking me which IMs I would do if I could only do one more and this was the one I named. Now he's trying to talk me into doing IM France.

Ditto to what everyone else has said about Germany. I have several friends who did it last year and LOVED IT!!! They said the finish line is like running down a red carpet with tons of photographers - of course, that year Chrissie and Macca were there. :)

Looking forward to hearing about that journey!!!

AP: Embrunman? ha, you are funny. I HAVE been on that course before and that would literally KILL ME. I could not even drive that course! Toughest IM out there. And, remember, our hills are overpasses off the highway! :) I am a little nuts, but not stupid!
